The starting point

Finding a charging station is only part of the decision. Drivers also need to understand connector compatibility, reported availability and the possible cost of a stop. Those answers come from different sources, with different coverage and update schedules.

What we are building

Stacja Obok brings station discovery, connector and power filters, station and city pages, cost calculators and guides into one service. The public site supports Polish and English. Coverage depends on the connected datasets; an empty area on the map does not prove there are no chargers there.

Decisions behind the interface

A reported availability status is not a reservation. A missing fee is not a zero fee. Those distinctions shape the interface and the cost comparison. The site explains its sources and limitations alongside the results rather than leaving them in a distant technical document.

Where AI fits

AI assistance supports development and iteration. The product still needs explicit data sources, deterministic calculations and checks of the user interface. Generated code does not establish that a tariff is current or that a charger will be free on arrival.

Current status

The public service is live and continues to evolve. The portfolio entry describes the map, filters, calculators and explanatory pages visible in the product. It does not claim complete European coverage, guaranteed real-time availability or a finished automated travel planner.
